Get in touch
Email support@mangogrovelabs.com with anything at all — a problem, a question, or an idea for what MonteSprout should do next.
If you are testing a beta build, you can also shake your device inside the app to report a problem. Attach a screenshot if it helps, and include your email if you would like a reply.
Where is my data?
On your device, and in your own private iCloud if you are signed in. There is no MonteSprout account and no server of ours holding your classroom. The full picture, including the one time note text leaves your device, is in the privacy policy.
How do I get my data out?
Go to Settings → Export data. You get a JSON file (complete and re-importable) and a Markdown document you can read or print. Photos, videos and voice notes are listed in the export rather than embedded — the files themselves stay on your device and in your iCloud backup.
How do I delete something for good?
Deleted observations, students, classrooms and reports go to Recovery first, so a mis-tap is never final. You choose how long they stay there in Settings — 30 days, 90 days, or never auto-removed — and “Delete forever” is always available if you want something gone now.
How do I turn off analytics?
Settings → Privacy has two toggles, one for crash reports and one for anonymous usage statistics. Both take effect immediately. Neither ever carries the content of your notes.
Why is the app asking to send me notifications?
Only for reminders you set yourself. They are scheduled locally on your device — nothing about them reaches us, and you can decline or change them in iOS Settings at any time.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Capture works with no signal at all. Syncing to your other devices resumes when you are back online, and drafting a report is the one feature that needs a connection.
I’m a beta tester — what should I report?
Anything that felt wrong, slow, confusing, or simply not what you expected — small annoyances are the most useful reports we get. Shake to report from inside the app, or email us. If something went wrong with a specific note or child, please describe it rather than sending the note itself.
